Amba (Dist.Kolhapur) is located 65 kms away from Kolhapur City, at the height of 3000 ft asl, nestled deep in the Western Ghats, which is recently awarded the World Heritage Status. It is located on NH204, on top of Amba ghat, almost exactly between Kolhapur and Ratnagiri cities of Maharashtra. It is easily accessible from Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Panaji and Goa. Amba is a reserve forest and falls in the buffer zone of Sahyadri National Park and Dajipur Bison Sanctuary.

The Jungle Resort Amba, is a 5 acre well developed, tree covered property with lawns and numerous trees. There is a seasonal stream flowing through the Western part of the resort. Scattered inside this lush green area are our rooms, Swimming Pool and other facilities with ample open spaces.

The resorts have spacious rooms, bathrooms with all facilities and an environmentally friendly restaurant. The resort is specially meant for tourists, trekkers and company personnel. All tourist, trekking and pilgrimage destinations like Harshil, Gartangali Gangotri, Gomukh, Tapovan, Dodital, Nachiketa Tal, Sem Nagaraja etc. are within reasonable reach of the property.
